Job description : Duties :

• Part-time position (8 hours max)
• Assess and implement physical therapy needs for students.
• Develops treatment plans, interventions, and / or educational materials for the purpose of meeting individualized student objectives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Screens students to determine the need for further individualized assessment.
• Consults with teachers, parents, other personnel, and / or outside professionals for the purpose of providing requested information, developing plans for services, and / or making recommendations and / or referrals.
• Facilitates and / or attends meetings (e.g., IEP / MET / Team conferences, parent meetings, in-services, site meetings, etc.) for the purpose of developing plans and / or providing information regarding a students functional goals.
• Assess students to identify eligibility and IEP needs.
• Follow school-wide systems, rules, and positive behavior interventions.
• Support the delivery of services in a classroom integration model.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with students and families.
• Responsible for paperwork compliance with data collections relating to IEP goals.
• Accountability for growth and proficiency on IEP goals.
• Participate in annual and ongoing staff training.
• Complete any appropriate Medicaid billing and documentation.
• Write PT goals and progress monitoring data for students' IEPs.
