Job description : Duties :
- Part-time position (8 hours max)
- Assess and implement physical therapy needs for students.
- Develops treatment plans, interventions, and / or educational materials for the purpose of meeting individualized student objectives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Screens students to determine the need for further individualized assessment.
- Consults with teachers, parents, other personnel, and / or outside professionals for the purpose of providing requested information, developing plans for services, and / or making recommendations and / or referrals.
- Facilitates and / or attends meetings (e.g., IEP / MET / Team conferences, parent meetings, in-services, site meetings, etc.) for the purpose of developing plans and / or providing information regarding a students functional goals.
- Assess students to identify eligibility and IEP needs.
- Follow school-wide systems, rules, and positive behavior interventions.
- Support the delivery of services in a classroom integration model.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with students and families.
- Responsible for paperwork compliance with data collections relating to IEP goals.
- Accountability for growth and proficiency on IEP goals.
- Participate in annual and ongoing staff training.
- Complete any appropriate Medicaid billing and documentation.
- Write PT goals and progress monitoring data for students' IEPs.

Experience delivering services in a school setting in a classroom integration model preferredAbility to approach situations with optimism and perseveranceExcellent verbal, written and organizational skillsMinimum of two years PT experience in a school setting preferredExperience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA) preferredRequired :
Arizona IVP Fingerprint clearance cardMaster's Degree or higherCurrent license with the AZ Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
