Job Description

The Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining records of materials for company’s inventory and customer orders, monitors re-order points and initiates action to replenish stock, and reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Enter data for quantities of supplies, inventory and cycle count adjustments into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Make accurate adjustments in Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Collect data with lot numbers and expiration dates of products.
  • Record and monitor all items with shelf-life on a regular basis and notify appropriate personnel when items have expired.
  • Prepare reports and perform cycle counts and pick-lists counts as needed.
  • Prepare and participate in regular physical inventory as needed.
  • Check large orders for accuracy before shipping products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One year or more of previous warehouse experience.
  • Minimum of 1-year work experience where Inventory Control was one of the main responsibilities / roles of the job.
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to pay close attention to accuracy.
  • Able to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
  • Ability to use a computer with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents as well as ability to write basic correspondence memos and notes.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
  • Ability to physically to walk and be on one’s feet at least 8 hours per day.
  • Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
  • 8 : 00pm - 4 : 00am (Monday - Thursday)
