HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Elmhurst, New York.

Title : Ultrasound Tech - RDMS Registered

Location : Elmhurst, NY

Duration : 3 months (12 / 01 / 2025 – 03 / 07 / 2026)

Shift : 12 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 AM, 5 days / week, alternating weekends; holidays required; 2-week training from 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (including EPIC class)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in an acute care setting.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records and imaging reports accurately.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for physician review.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Provide compassionate patient care and excellent communication with healthcare team members.
  • Participate in training and continuing education sessions as required.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum of 1 year of general registered ultrasound experience.
  • Experience in an acute care setting required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Required Education & Certifications :

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including military training accepted).
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
