Job description

Yonkers Contracting Company is hiring a Construction Documents Control Specialist for a multi-million-dollar civil construction project in New Haven, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone right out of school who wants to gain hands-on experience in construction administration and document management.

Essential Duties Include :

  • Manage and maintain project documentation (drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, contracts, invoices)
  • Prepare and distribute documentation to subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Track document revisions and maintain version control
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and project requirements
  • Maintain accurate logs for document submissions
  • Communicate with project teams regarding document status

Essential Skills and Abilities Include :

  • Recent graduate (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline)
  • General understanding of construction processes is a plus, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
