Yonkers Contracting Company is hiring a Construction Documents Control Specialist for a multi-million-dollar civil construction project in New Haven, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone right out of school who wants to gain hands-on experience in construction administration and document management.
Essential Duties Include :
- Manage and maintain project documentation (drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, contracts, invoices)
- Prepare and distribute documentation to subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Track document revisions and maintain version control
- Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and project requirements
- Maintain accurate logs for document submissions
- Communicate with project teams regarding document status
Essential Skills and Abilities Include :
Recent graduate (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline)General understanding of construction processes is a plus, but not requiredProficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, etc.)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently
