As a seasonal support driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to communities and businesses from your personal vehicle. This is a physically active role that requires schedule flexibility, as work will be assigned in the morning based on operational needs and your availability.
This position involves fast-paced work, being outdoors, and safely operating a vehicle. You will need to lift up to 70 pounds, have a valid driver's license, and provide proof of insurance and vehicle registration.
The role requires Saturdays and holiday work, depending on business needs. You must also comply with UPS appearance guidelines. Additionally, your vehicle must meet certain requirements, including being under 10,000 pounds, having a covered and secured bed if it's a truck, and not displaying any company logos or markings.
As a seasonal support driver, you can expect excellent hourly pay, including mileage reimbursement of .70 cents per mile. You will be paid weekly and have the opportunity to work part-time. This role may lead to a permanent position with additional benefits and advantages.
