Summary
The role of the Clinical Data Manager is to oversee research operations within a community-based research study aimed at reducing heart disease risk. The Clinical Data Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of data collection, including coordinating schedules of study visits, blood collection and processing, and ensuring adherence to protocols and quality control standards. This role includes training research coordinators, managing supplies, ensuring compliance with safety and ethical guidelines, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, a commitment to community engagement, and the ability to work collaboratively with study teams and participants to foster trust and promote study goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in health or biological sciences or related field. Two years of clinical research work-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in public health, clinical research, or related field. Data management experience. Experience interacting with diverse populations and communities. Experience in public health or community-based research.
