Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer.

This role is located in Jonesville, SC. Relocation assistance will be provided. The role will be remote (in the United States) until summer 2026. There will be 30% travel required to our Waukesha, Wisconsin site.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you'll do :

Join us at the forefront of innovation as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the exciting launch of our new facility in Jonesville, SC. For the first 18 months, you'll be a key member of the PDRD manufacturing operations team, driving the implementation of a major $340M capital expansion project.

Once the project is successfully launched, this role will transition to the local site team, where you'll continue to support ongoing operations and help shape the future of manufacturing at the site.

In this role you will :

  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

\n

  • Manage project metrics, budgets, and forecasts to ensure performance visibility and financial accuracy.
  • \n

  • Oversee supplier and contractor relationships, including contract negotiation, pricing, and warranty terms.
  • \n

  • Develop equipment specifications and evaluate vendors for optimal selection and performance.
  • \n

  • Supervise on-site contractor activities, ensuring adherence to Eaton's safety and operational standards.
  • \n

  • Support facility planning initiatives such as expansions, consolidations, and asset management processes.
  • \n

  • Drive implementation of new product manufacturing with a focus on lean principles and continuous improvement.
  • \n

  • Provide technical support to resolve production challenges and enhance workplace safety.
  • \n \n

    Qualifications :

    Basic Qualifications :

    \n

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Candidates graduating in December 2025 will be considered.
  • \n

  • One (1) year of internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment
  • \n

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience utilizing Computer Aided Drafting programs
  • \n

    Skills : \n

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton site operations team
  • \n

  • Self-motivating and acts in an ethical and truthful manner
  • \n

  • Broad analytical skills and business acumen
  • \n \n
