Associate, Asset Management

Stockbridge is a real estate investment management firm founded in 2003 and led by seasoned senior professionals averaging 25+ years of industry experience. Stockbridge oversees approximately $34 billion of assets under management across a variety of real estate property types, with an emphasis on residential and industrial space throughout the United States. The firm has offices in San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, and Phoenix.

Opportunity and Position Summary :

This asset management role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the four asset classes : industrial, retail, office and multifamily. The portfolio will be covering Southern California. The portfolio includes core, value add and development opportunities across the asset classes. The candidate would directly work with three Vice Presidents and will be part of a collaborative team working closely with other asset managers, as well as portfolio management and acquisition teams. There is significant growth potential for the right candidate! This is both a qualitative and quantitative position, strong math and written skills are necessary.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepare financial models for internal property valuations, dispositions, recapitalizations, lease analyses and waterfalls for joint-venture investments. Assist in preparation, review and execution of annual property budgets and business plans
• Help develop and execute asset strategy to maximize value and meet portfolio objectives
• Accompany Asset Managers on property visits and market tours, as needed
• Provide oversight and develop strong relationships with third-party property managers, leasing brokers and joint-venture partners
• Work alongside asset managers overseeing construction of ground-up development and redevelopment opportunities
• Prepare presentation materials for Investment Committee, as needed

Skills and Competencies :

Compensation :

Competitive . The base pay scale for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 annually. Stockbridge’s base pay scale depends on geographic location, business line, years of experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
