Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disturbances. Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols. Collaborate with staff, students, and visitors to promote a secure environment within the educational location. Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related concerns or emergencies that may arise during the shift. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Possess a current armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Armed Security Guard - Education Location
As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. In this armed role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
