Opened in 1981, Kennedy’s Restaurant is a family-owned establishment based in the city of Marlboro, MA.  Our family and business pride ourselves on incredible meals, outstanding service and creating a memorable dining experience. We are currently looking for friendly, energetic and dedicated hosts to join our team and help us continue to provide excellent service to our valued guests.

Position Summary :

As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized dining area while assisting servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and prompt service. You will be responsible for clearing tables, resetting them for the next guests, refilling supplies, and supporting the team during busy shifts. Your work helps create a positive atmosphere for both guests and fellow team members. This is a tipped position.

Key Responsibilities :

• Clear and Clean Tables : After guests finish their meals, promptly clear and clean tables, removing dishes, utensils, and glassware to prepare for the next guests.
• Reset Tables : Ensure tables are properly reset with clean linens, utensils, glassware, and condiments in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Assist Servers : Support servers by delivering beverages, refilling water glasses, and providing any additional items guests may need during their meal .
• Maintain Cleanliness : Help keep the dining room, service stations, and restrooms clean and well-stocked. This includes sweeping and mopping floors as needed and emptying trash bins.
• Assist with Stocking : Help restock service areas with supplies such as napkins, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
• Support During Peak Hours : Assist in managing high-volume periods by maintaining a smooth flow of guest seating and ensuring tables are turned quickly.
• Help with Guest Requests : Respond to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring guests have a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with Team Members : Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure that all areas of the restaurant are running efficiently and smoothly.
