Yunex is seeking a Traffic Signal Groundman to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will assist with installation and maintenance of cables, fibers, and cameras associated with traffic signal and street light systems. You will work closely with engineering technicians to provide optimum installation and maintenance services to agency customers. The crew will occasionally work overtime and working outside is to be expected. If you have a background with electrical work or road construction, we'd love to have you apply & join our team!

Requirements :

• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a ground laborer, handling materials and hand tools.
• Prior work experience in traffic, road work a huge plus.
• May be required to get IMSA Work Zone Safety certification and bucket truck operator certification.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical exam and drug test, have a valid driver's license, and insurance
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Must be able and willing to work at heights typically associated with installation, repair, and maintenance of traffic signals and streetlights
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Must adhere to environmental, health and safety regulations, work procedures and guidelines
• Must have basic hand tools, other specialized tools will be provided by the company.
