HR Manager Opportunity
Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and support all core human resources functions. This individual will partner closely with leadership to oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. The ideal candidate is compassionate, highly organized, and committed to fostering an inclusive and positive workplace culture that aligns with the organization's values.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary HR contact for staff, leadership, and external partners.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, and coordination of hiring processes.
- Lead employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, coaching conversations, and policy interpretation.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee benefits administration, annual open enrollment, and vendor relationships.
- Support performance management processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Partner with leadership on culture-building initiatives, DEI efforts, staff training, and organizational development.
Requirements Qualifications :
5+ years of human resources experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.Experience managing employee relations with professionalism and discretion.Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification is a plus.
