Title : Speech Language Pathologist

Location : Utica, NY

Shift : 5 x 8 hour Days

Duration : 13 week contract

Pay : $2900 - $3000 / wk

• Requirements :
• Completion of clinical fellowship year required
• NY license required AND CCC in SLP from ASHA
• BLS Certified
• 1 year of prior experience as a Speech Pathologist in acute care or inpatient setting is highly preferred.
• ACUTE CARE setting
• SLP will be expected to cover acute / rehab / OP as scheduled
• 75-mile radius rule - TRAVEL (WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate will apply for candidate residing less than 75 miles from the facility)
• 8-hour days
• Weekend rotation, as scheduled within 40 week hours
• Shift : 8 : 00-16 : 30
• Duties
• Areas of care include inpatient hospital, acute rehab and outpatient clinic.
• Completion of clinical fellowship year required
• Swallowing bed evaluations, required and video fluoroscopy experience preferred, not required.
• Would need to be flexible to move with patient loads.
• Responsible for patient coverage within the Mohawk Valley Health System system.
• Areas of care include inpatient hospital, acute rehab and outpatient clinic.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including educators, physicians, and family members to coordinate care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches to optimize outcomes.
