Senior Accountant

Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in financial management and reporting, who is ready to contribute to the efficient operation of accounting processes. The successful candidate will handle complex financial tasks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting organizational goals.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and financial decision-making.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate company performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage payroll functions, including reconciliation and accurate transaction processing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations.
• Handle cash management activities, optimizing liquidity and ensuring proper allocation of resources.
• Consolidate financial statements across multiple entities and prepare year-end reports.
• Monitor and report on costs of goods sold (COGS) to improve operational efficiency.
• Utilize accounting software such as Restaurant 365 to streamline financial operations and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
