Travel Nursing Job Details

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Assignment

Location : Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare)

Healthcare Setting : Surgical Stay Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Start Date : September 1, 2025

End Date : December 1, 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts / week)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880 - $2020 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room, Surgical Stay Unit, or similar clinical setting

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Surgical Stay Unit as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Assist with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for surgical patients

Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition

Accurately document patient care using the EPIC EMR system

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals

Maintain a safe, sterile, and compliant operating room environment
