Overview
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist, specializing in Anesthesia systems, to support healthcare facilities from Philadelphia to Maine and the surrounding regions. This role functions as a Subject Matter Expert in anesthesia equipment while also bringing advanced expertise in one or more high-end healthcare technology modalities.
The specialist will serve as a technical leader within the region, operating independently with minimal supervision, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced clinical equipment inventories. This position requires strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional SME and modality expert for anesthesia systems and related high-end biomedical equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced clinical equipment across multiple facilities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical expertise in specialized equipment areas, including device integration / networking, catheterization lab / electrophysiology monitoring systems, and capital planning.
- Partner with facility leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance strategies that support clinical and operational goals.
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.
