3 rd Shift Weekend Shelter Monitor (Part Time)

Fort Worth, TX (76103) | Onsite

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience working with homeless populations highly preferred
  • Comfortable working independently and handling escalated situations
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in nonprofit or shelter environments
  • Conflict resolution or de-escalation training
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus

    • COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • $15 / hr
  • Schedule :
  • Saturday and Sunday, 12 : 30am-12 : 30pm
  • W2, Temporary
  • Onsite

    • ROLE IMPACT

  • Ensures safety and security of residents by checking their activity and compliance house rules
  • Performs intake records
  • Keeps accurate records
  • Completes records of residents including daily statistics and incident logs
  • Reports pertinent information to the Senior Manager

    • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor shelter activities and ensure policy compliance
  • Assist residents with basic needs and questions
  • Enforce shelter rules and address concerns professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas
  • Serve as a point of contact for guests; provide support and resolve conflicts
  • Accurately document incidents and daily activities
  • Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts and stay late when required

    • EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Indoor shelter setting with frequent interaction with residents
  • Moderate physical activity including standing and walking
  • May require occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
  • Exposure to crisis situations requiring calm and composed responses
