Responsibilities Work in a Float Pool covering multiple in-patient units including Med-Surg / Peds, Ortho / Neuro, and Sub-Acute Unit Night shift schedule from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays Patient assignments may include medical, surgical, pediatric, orthopedic, neurological, and sub-acute cases Position requires floating to various in-patient units as needed Responsible for developing and executing patient care plans according to individualized needs and physician directives Must collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care Requires use of critical thinking and escalation in matters of patient safety and experience Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, and patient / family instruction Participation in performance improvement activities and shared governance may be expected Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Must be vaccinated for Influenza Experience in Med-Surg, Ortho, Neurology, or sub-acute units is preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629904.
