Logistics Specialist-Ultrasound

Position Summary :

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting all material logistics at the ultrasound operations facility. Primary responsibilities include cost-effective acquisition of material transport, supply, delivery, storage, and disposal of goods and services to the Service and Parts Sales Division. E nsures internal and external regulatory and Quality System compliance as relates to material handling. Processes all shipping / receiving transactions, and supports all aspects of inventory movement and control.

Essential Duties :

• Perform all shipping / receiving activities of inbound and outbound materials.
• Ensure compliance with inventory cycle count program and perform, (With assistance), all inventory cycle and annual counts.
• Make sure all shipping supplies are at adequate levels and submit re-orders as needed.
• Transact all material transfers within ERP system as required.
• Responsible for contacting, receiving quotes and issuing PO's for all LTL and other trucking logistics for systems and other.
• Handle all shipping defect issues as part of the MXR Quality System.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and MXR Quality Systems requirements and the accurate documentation and reporting of work orders.
• Physically move materials to proper locations within the warehouse and production floor and office areas.
