Job descriptionJoining a well-established, busy CVT program 8000+ open hearts procedures annually 3 CVT surgeons and 1 intensivist Mid-level support Providing pre- and post-surgical intensive care to CVT surgery patients Standard term : 5 years Attractive salary Starting bonus offered Block schedule $6,000 annual CME allowance meeting registration / travel, dues subscriptions, etc. Relocation assistance Paid malpractice, including employer-paid tail (subject to time requirements) Generous benefit package, including premium-free health and dental insurance and 403(b) plan American Stroke Association "Gold Plus" award winner 393- bed tertiary care facility Certified as WV's first Primary Stroke Center by JCAHO (2004) Regional referral center for 10 -12 hospitals Serving a population > Faith-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization ER : level 2 trauma center; greater than 70,000 visits per year Hospitalist program : 22-physician, 24-hour coverage Resident population of approximately 50,000 Family-friendly environment Moderate climate - low crime rate - reasonable cost of living - stable housing market Good schools public and private 2-hour drive from Lexington, Columbus or Cincinnati BC / BE Toll Free Main

- Fellowship trained in Critical Care Medicine, with Anesthesia or Pulmonary Residency
- Board Certified / Board Prepared
- Experience in caring of cardiac surgery patients preferred
