Job description

Are you looking for a rewarding career? Are you passionate about serving the underserved? Come join our growing team! Immediate opening for a full-time, qualified substance use disorder therapist to provide services to incarcerated individuals housed in local correctional facilities, and our community out-patient services in our Ann Arbor office. Position provides direct, prison-based services to incarcerated and / or post incarcerated clients through individual and group therapies. This is a full-time, hourly, benefit eligible position.

Seeking a team of certified and / or preferably licensed LMSW, LLP, LLMSW, MSW with a minimum of two years post-degree clinical experience treating substance use disorders and facilitating substance abuse treatment groups. Individuals with a bachelor's degree in the mental health field and a CADC or CAADC will also be considered.

  • Ability to provide substance abuse treatment including assessments, individual therapy, didactic groups, and therapy groups
  • Computer / software proficiency
  • LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, CADC and CAADC preferred
  • No felony conviction / s
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule
  • Exceptional benefit plan with employer contribution, paid time off, and an additional 15 paid holidays per year, including the week between Christmas and New Years
  • CCWC positions include high quality LLMSW weekly supervision towards your LMSW.
  • This position qualifies for a $1,250.00 welcome bonus (Some restrictions apply)

Ideal candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries while effectively engaging clients from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

This position is jointly located at Catholic Charities Washtenaw County and Women's Huron Valley Correctional facility. At this time, the Michigan Department of Corrections is requiring that all therapists within the prison be female, We are still accepting all responses and should this requirement change, we will reach out to you.
