Position Overview :
Job Title : Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray TechLocation : 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR 97213Start Date : December 8, 2025Duration : 13 weeksSchedule : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (09 : 30 - 22 : 00), block scheduleUnit : Radiology / X-Ray DepartmentPatient Load : Performing 150-200 exams Mon-Fri, 100-120 on weekendsShift Type : Block schedulingKey Responsibilities :
Perform a wide range of imaging exams including abdomen, pelvis, extremities, fluoroscopy, and surgical procedures.Work in adult acute care, outpatient, emergency, ICU, NICU, and operating room settings.Prepare and administer contrast media.Operate advanced equipment such as GE, O-ARM, PACS, and others.Maintain high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including OR and ER.Cover on-call shifts (minimum 1 / month).Float between units, including OR, ED, and fluoro procedures.Qualifications & Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of radiology / cardiology tech experience.Certifications : ARRT R (preferred), BLS (preferred).Skills : Abdomen / GI imaging, fluoroscopy, contrast media, operating GE and O-ARM equipment.Preferred Experience : Fluoro, OR, ED, surgical procedures.License : Oregon license required (pending acceptable).Other : Must have a vehicle, willing to float to nearby facilities, and work holidays.Patient Ratios : 1 : 1Additional Notes :
Travel & Float : Must be willing to float within hospital departments and nearby facilities.Background & References : 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years.RTO : Limited to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days, requested upfront.Hospital Highlights : \n\nType : Short-term acute care\nTotal Beds : 418\nCharting System : Epic\nParking : Free
