Job description

Overview

DEPT is looking for a freelancer Art Director to support an enterprise tech client. The project is slated to start ASAP and run through December 31, 2025, with a possibility to extend, and potentially convert. Hours will be 40 hours weekly throughout the engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Creating original concepts with clear, concise art direction and design that is both visually interesting, on brand, and focused on performance marketing
  • Designing in a range of visual styles as appropriate for our clients and mediums and integrating design requirements and best practices into all phases of production
  • Assisting the Creative Director and Associate Creative Directors
  • Maintaining responsibility for each project through final execution, including QA and reviewing and signing off on all revisions and production phases
  • Collaborating with Project Managers and Producers on resourcing, budgets, and timelines
  • The Art Director will need to have Motion Knowledge / Skills, Deep Video Production Experience, Social Mindset, Conceptual Pitch Skills, and Great Brand / Design Chops.

    The anticipated compensation range for this position is $70-$85 hourly .

    The anticipated salary range for this position is listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location , and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we’re flexible.

    $70 - $85 USD
