Painter Level 1
As a Painter Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the overall aesthetic and functional quality of our products. You will report directly to our Production Manager and you'll work out of our St Louis, MO location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the quality and appearance of our products, ensuring they meet both customer expectations and industry standards. All candidates selected for Onsite interview will be required to complete an in-person evaluation of knowledge for blueprints, measuring tools, and basic math etc.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to read and follow direction of specifications, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and descriptions to determine sequence, tolerances, and adjustments.
Install controls and power wiring, including troubleshooting electrical issues and appropriate testing and inspection of electrical components.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures, as appropriate.
Measure, examine, assemble, test and complete product, including detection of defects, to ensure specification conformance using precision testing instruments and specified programs.
Accurately track and log assembly time sheets for each build and tear down.
Properly identify and document QMS and department procedures.
Adherence to all safety guidelines and plant rules.
Perform regular maintenance of tools and electrical wiring.
Safe operation of the forklift, scissor lift and all other lift assist and tools.
Participate in and support the principle in lean manufacturing concepts.
Performs other duties as assigned.

You Must Have
Experience in industrial / manufacturing painting or automotive paint industry.
Wet Spray Painter.
Knowledge of various painting techniques and equipment.
Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures related to painting operations.
Technical education is a plus.
An ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting at least 35 pounds.
