Senior Director of Bids & Proposals
IntelliDyne, LLC seeks an experienced proposal leader to direct our end-to-end proposal development process across multiple simultaneous pursuits. This role demands a strategic problem-solver with commanding presence who can manage complex federal opportunities valued at $50-$200 million while maintaining excellence in execution and stakeholder relationships.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact and lead the proposal team through multiple concurrent RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, Sole Sources, OTAs, and White Papers
- Manage all proposal development activities including third-party support coordination
- Oversee complete proposal lifecycle : kickoffs, task assignments, scheduling, color reviews, production, and lessons learned
- Ensure quality control and full compliance at each stage of the proposal process
- Analyze solicitations and develop comprehensive proposal strategies, schedules, and compliance matrices
- Facilitate development of pre-proposal artifacts including technical solution outlines and color step reviews for executive approval
- Lead kick-off meetings and coordinate all color review sessions with cross-functional teams
- Conduct timely post-submission lessons learned sessions, identify improvements, and drive process optimization
- Coach and mentor proposal team members on developing compliant, compelling responses
- Delegate and coordinate tasks effectively across internal teams, partners, SMEs, consultants, and coaches
- Interface with stakeholders ranging from senior management to technical SMEs
- Manage teams of up to 20 individuals across internal and external resources
- Oversee proposal production including desktop publishing, editing, proofreading, printing, and binding
- Perform technical editing and draft non-technical sections including past performance and resume tailoring
- Administer SharePoint infrastructure for proposal libraries, archives, and knowledge management
- Collect, vet, format, and submit questions to government contracting officers
Required Qualifications
6-10+ years of proposal and capture management experienceProven track record supporting multiple pursuits in the $50-$200 million rangeIn-depth knowledge of federal acquisition lifecycle for Defense and Civilian marketsDemonstrated command of full proposal processes with excellent interpersonal skillsExperience implementing and managing inter-departmental processesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, SharePoint, and AI / ML / LLM toolsSharePoint administration experience for libraries, folder structures, and archivesTraining in Shipley proposal processKnowledge of ITIL and Kanban methodologiesExperience incorporating AI / ML or LLM technologies into proposal workflowsClear, succinct oral and written communicationAbility to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines simultaneouslyCreative problem-solving with collaborative and independent work capabilitiesExperience reducing costs through process efficienciesPreferred Qualifications
Shipley Method certification in Proposal Writing & Capture ManagementBachelor's degree (or 6+ additional years of relevant experience)Technical certifications relevant to the positionActive or recent Secret or Top Secret security clearanceYou are a dynamic leader who owns the proposal process from start to finish.
