Position Summary :
We're seeking a technically skilled and business-savvy Solutions Sales Engineer to grow our automation solutions business. You'll work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to identify needs, define technical requirements, and deliver value-driven automation solutions.
Business Development & Growth
- Identify and engage new customers and markets for automation solutions
- Develop and grow strategic customer relationships, from engineering to executive level
- Promote the full range of automation capabilities
Customer Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accountsUnderstand customer roadmaps to identify future opportunitiesBuild strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and supportSales & Reporting
Develop accurate forecasts and meet financial targets for your accountsCreate proposals, quotes, and change orders for new and existing customersCollaboration & Leadership
Drive small to medium-sized projects from start to finishCommunicate technical ideas effectively across teamsStay current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive solutionsQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in industrial automation or solution salesStrong understanding of control systems, system integration, and automation technologiesAbility to analyze customer needs, define technical solutions, and communicate value clearlySkilled in Microsoft Office; able to create professional presentationsStrong time management, initiative, and ability to handle multiple projectsWillingness to travel both domestically and internationallyExcellent communication skills and a collaborative, self-driven work style
