Diesel Technician / Mechanic

Fitzgerald Peterbilt currently employs over 150 employees . Our locations include Huntsville, Birmingham, Montgomery, Gadsden in Alabama and Bristol and Fancy Gap in Virginia.

Job Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and repair on heavy duty trucks, heavy haul trucks, car carriers, fire engines, and roll off trucks.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in training
• Assist fellow technicians / mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Maintain an organized and neat bay.
• Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules.
