AOA Xinetics (AOX), a Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) Mission Enabling Products Business Unit, is a leading supplier of complex electro-optic and photonic systems and subsystems that control and manipulate light waves for a variety of applications. We are seeking a Program Manager 1 to support operations in Devens, MA.
Overview
Reporting to the AOX Devens Manager of Programs, the Program Manager 1 will align multidisciplinary engineering and business functional teams across all program and product lifecycle phases in semiconductor, directed energy, and astronomy applications. You will be responsible for profitable execution of programs that meet schedule and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline and 5 years of relevant experience, OR 3 years of experience with a Master's degree. 1 3+ years of Program or Project Management experience or similar (e.g. Lead IPT (Integrated Product Team), Control Account Manager (CAM), or Lead NPT (New Product Team)). Experience in the Aerospace / Defense Industry and design for manufacturing and transition to production programs. Gated design development experience (PDR, CDR). Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Proven analytical, technical, strategic and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite and MS Project. US Citizenship is a requirement for employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with optics (e.g. adaptive optics, deformable mirrors, complex optical structures, etc) Experience in manufacturing and / or production program execution with optimization and / or continuous improvement production line execution
Primary Level Salary Range : $129,900.00 - $194,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
