We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to support the Effectors portfolio of factories in Tucson, AZ. This position involves maximizing throughput, improving efficiency, and delivering increasing value to the customer through a range of industrial engineering activities.

What You Will Do

Model factory operations by generating process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show production processes and key performance indicators.
Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce undesirable effects, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
Influence factory roadmaps and investment strategies by drafting infrastructure improvement and expansion proposals and planning the integration of new products, technologies, and equipment that create a competitive advantage.
Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects that address obsolescence, improve factory performance, and promote growth.
Support new production contract / new product proposals and new product integration efforts.
Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience, or 3 years of relevant experience with a master's degree in a similar discipline.

Experience using CAD software.

Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Factory layout and work cell design / optimization experience.

Simulation modeling and capacity analysis tools / methods experience.

Project management experience.

Six Sigma certifications.

Leading teams and capable of influencing without authority.

Salary Range

USD 82,000 – 164,000.
