POSITION SUMMARY :
The Print Center Operator is responsible for producing high-quality printed materials that support the operational and communication needs of the hospital. This position operates and maintains digital and offset printing, bindery, and finishing equipment to ensure timely, accurate, and professional results. The Print Center Operator reviews job tickets, monitors production quality, manages supply inventories, and coordinates job scheduling, packaging, and delivery. This role ensures all print production meets established quality standards, deadlines, and safety requirements while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :
High School graduate or equivalent.Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with organizational policy.EXPERIENCE :
One (1) to three (3) years hands on experience in print production and bindery.Familiarity with mailroom operations or postal prep (bulk mail, Presorted.)Basic computer skills.Ability to read and follow job tickets and production schedules.COMPETENCIES :
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Must be able to communicate effectively in English.Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Maintain excellent customer service to clients and follow up as needed with inquiries.Occasional travel to business off sites is necessary to fulfill the responsibility of the position.Ability to occasionally move items up to seventy-five (75) pounds.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :

Operate and maintain digital and / offset printing equipment.Assists in tracking jobs through scheduling, bindery operations, shipping requirements, and delivery of requested customer samples.Review job tickets and ensure accuracy of printed materials.Set up, operate, and maintain bindery and finishing equipment (e.g., cutter, folder, creaser, binder).Perform quality checks throughout production process.Support other areas within the department when necessary.Monitor inventory of paper, ink, and finishing supplies.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Meet or exceed production deadlines and quality standards.Responsible for driving personal vehicle to deliver finished products to local business sites.PI22fe537920b4-30511-38989970
