Responsibilities This is a UI / UX Design position. Candidates in this position shall be responsible for crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications. In this role, the UI / UX designer shall be responsible for the visual layout, styling of web pages, making key decisions in color, typography, and iconography in component design.

Basic requirements 5 years of experience as a software engineer

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

2 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree

Required Experience Basic understanding using the Linux CLI

Proven experience as a UI / UX Designer

Proficiency using UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch

Strong understanding of UI layout principles, design systems, responsive design principles and concepts

Solid understanding of color theory, typography, iconography, and visual hierarchy

Familiarity with the Gestalt laws of perceptual organization

Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and CSS

A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI / UX design artifacts

Desired Experience Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

Compensation and Benefits Salary : $205,000 - $215,000 annually
