Job description

AMERICAN WELDING & GAS, INC. has a new opportunity for a Fleet Administrator in Lexington , KY . This is a full-time career opportunity with excellent benefits!

This position has the primary responsibility of administratively supporting AWG compliance efforts company wide.  Focus areas include, but not limited to, Safety, Distribution, Environmental, and Medical Compliance, along with Quality, Fleet, and Asset management systems.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and update various in-house compliance databases.
  • Review and submit agency applications (DOT, EPA, OSHA, FDA, ISO, etc.).
  • Support over 120 AWG locations with compliance activities.
  • Ensure that all stores have the correct Board of Pharmacy certifications, FDA and Propane licenses.
  • Training drivers and staff on how to use company driver App, how to comply with HOSrules, regulatory requirements.
  • Track field communications such as policies, procedures, toolbox topics, security assessments.
  • Collect and maintain documentation for inspections, defects, roadside inspections.
  • Track corrective and preventive actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications & Education Requirements :

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent. Higher education preferred.
  • Computer database knowledge (i.e., MS Excel, Tableau, Smartsheet, Power BI, etc.).
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
