Occupational Therapist (OT)

FT : MF, 8 : 30 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m.

Salary : $52$55 / hr

Location : Jersey City, NJ

We are currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide patient-centered therapy services to help individuals achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations of patients physical and cognitive abilities and develop individualized rehabilitation goals.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver occupational therapy treatments tailored to patient needs.
  • Select and guide therapeutic activities that promote life-management and functional skills.
  • Assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
  • Provide recommendations for modifications in living or working environments to support recovery and independence.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (AOTA / AMA or equivalent).
  • Current New Jersey OT license in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience preferred, though strong new graduates will be considered.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.
  • Service-oriented, compassionate, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
