MAS Environmental (a NOVA Engineering & Environmental Company) is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Geologist in Tampa, FL to support our work under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP). This role involves managing petroleum-impacted site investigations, designing remediation systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for petroleum-impacted sites.
• Perform soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling; interpret geologic and hydrogeologic data.
• Prepare technical reports including Site Assessment Reports (SARs), Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
• Design and oversee remediation systems such as soil vapor extraction (SVE), multi-phase extraction (MPE), and groundwater pump-and-treat.
• Ensure compliance with FDEP regulations and OCCS documentation standards.
• Monitor groundwater for natural attenuation and post-remediation verification.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and public outreach as needed.
