Overview

EY is seeking a Senior Manager-Consulting in SAP Production Planning with Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) expertise. This role focuses on delivering SAP DMC solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and shaping system architecture in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on DMC-related initiatives.
Oversee program / project management, ensuring engagement economics are met while delivering DMC solutions.
Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements involving DMC.
Lead large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams with a focus on DMC, aligning with client objectives.
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities within DMC and maintain strong business acumen; stay updated on industry trends relevant to clients.
Ensure high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and communicating developments and expected outcomes to stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust in EY SAP DMC initiatives.
Effectively lead and motivate diverse teams, provide constructive feedback, and foster an innovative and inclusive work environment.
Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing ways to meet client needs in the DMC space.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology business requirements definition specific to DMC.

Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios related to DMC implementations.

Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks within Digital Manufacturing Cloud.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.

Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience.

At least five years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC).

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.

Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams with onshore and offshore teams.

Proficient in supply chain best practices within DMC, with benchmarking and advisory experience in supply chain technology functions.

Ability to travel 40-60% as required.

Experience with technology cost-benefit analyses and familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks.

Skills in training design and delivery.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Prior consulting experience with DMC specialization.

SAP certification(s).

Experience as a workstream / team lead for manufacturing with SAP.

Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations (ECC and / or S / 4HANA) focused on PP and DMC, and at least one full lifecycle implementation of MRP.

Experience integrating SAP PP with MES, QM, EWM, and DMC.

Hands-on SAP PP configuration experience and ability to design custom RICEF solutions and write functional specifications.

Experience creating and executing test scripts; experience delivering end-user training.

Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, MM, and DMC for both Discrete and Process industries.

Knowledge of manufacturing operations and product lifecycle management, including BOMs and Make-to-Stock / Make-to-Order models.
