An excellent school in the Scott Township, PA area has a full-time School Nurse LPN position opening for the current school year.

This role involves working in a MDS Classroom and would be working on a 1 : 1 basis with the students in the classroom. Students are K-6 and all have a medical care plan. Hours are 8 : 15 - 3 : 00 Monday - Friday.

Other Key Responsibilities of the School Nurse (LPN) :

• 1 : 1 direct clinical care with students
• Provides First aid treatment for students and staff.
• Trains school personnel on First Aid, CPR, and the use of the AED.
• Dispenses medication.
• Manages electronic and paper health records.
• Assumes responsibility for the referral of students in need of medical care
• Implements DoH (Department of Health) policies and protocols.
