Job Overview

SkyBlue Pool Supply N Service is seeking an experienced and motivated Pool Service Manager to lead our pool maintenance and service operations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring day-to-day efficiency, exceptional service quality, and strong customer relationships across both residential and commercial clients.The Service Manager will oversee the service technician team, manage daily schedules, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain consistent communication between the office, field staff, and customers. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment while mentoring others and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the service technician team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety in all operations.
  • Coordinate service routes, monitor job progress, and ensure timely completion of scheduled work.
  • Step in to service pools when needed, including brushing, vacuuming, and chemical balancing.
  • Perform and oversee minor repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments.
  • Manage pool start-ups, clean-ups, and water chemistry accuracy for residential and commercial clients.
  • Conduct weekend follow-ups on commercial chemical automation systems as needed.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and service concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of technician performance, customer communication, and service activities.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate technicians to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with office staff to manage scheduling, reporting, and operational priorities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in swimming pool maintenance and minor equipment repair.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pool systems, chemical automation, and water chemistry.
  • Hands-on ability to perform physical service tasks (lifting / pushing / pulling 50-75 lbs).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Certification in Pool Operation (CPO) or related training is a plus.
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
  • Proficient in basic office software and adaptable to new digital systems.
