Job description

Role Description : Marketing Business Development Intern

For Fall 2025 / Winter 2026, Protobrand is seeking an enthusiastic and talented student or recent graduate with an interest in marketing, business development, and market research who wants to gain real-world experience.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Marketing and Business Development teams, with a focus on email operations, lead follow up, sourcing, marketing and event support. Reporting to our Marketing Manager, this internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with tools like HubSpot and Apollo, and create real business outcomes.

We partner with well-known brands such as Colgate-Palmolive, Kraft Heinz, Hulu, Shell, and more to offer game-changing insights through AI + Behavioral Science. If you are interested in business development and marketing, with a willingness to create new opportunities, wed love to hear from you!

This is a paid, full-time internship. Boston office.

Fall 2025 / Winter 2026

Key Responsibilities :

Marketing & Sales Support :

  • Chase new business opportunities via email and LinkedIn, rekindling past client relationships and securing meetings for the sales team.
  • Assist in creating and managing HubSpot email sequences for account-based marketing campaigns, engaging target clients and nurturing relationships.
  • Track email and campaign engagement metrics, including opens, replies, and meetings, to measure outreach effectiveness.
  • Support logistics and communications for events and conferences, including pre-event planning and post-event follow-up.
  • Help collect and organize case study materials and other sales enablement resources.
  • Assist with LinkedIn posting and social media scheduling as needed to support marketing initiatives.

CRM Support (HubSpot) :

  • Assist with maintaining and organizing CRM data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Help clean up data, including removing bounced emails and identifying missing fields (e.g., Tier, Industry, Company Owner).
  • Utilize integrations like Apollo with guidance from the team.
  • Take advantage of the HubSpot Academy to develop skills and troubleshoot with HubSpot support when needed.
  • About You :

  • Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
  • Ability to commute to our office in Bostons South End
  • Experience with HubSpot (nice to have)
