Responsibilities :

Perform laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulations

Ensure accurate and timely test results, maintaining a high level of quality control and quality assurance

Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve laboratory operations and patient outcomes

Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results and patient information

Perform other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Manager or designee

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field

1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist

Current valid New York State Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
