JOB TITLE : Residential Counselor

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-time 40 hours / wk

SCHEDULED HOURS : Sunday Thursday 7AM-3 : 00PM

PROGRAM / LOCATION : Respite; Enfield CT

ABOUT THE PROGRAM : Respite

Respite means to take a break. Clients often need a way to take some space from the stressors in their lives and we are here to provide that. Throughout the day you are spending your time engaging with clients observing safe medication practices working on daily independent living skills assessing for risk and crisis situations and providing case management supports as needed. Clients may utilize Respite as a step down from a hospital or proactively to prevent a hospital stay. The program is staffed 24 / 7 and you will develop strong relationships with other CHR programs primary health and pharmacies to best support those in our care.

Duties & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : High diploma or GED required.

Experience : Two years experience working with a relevant population preferred.

Licensure / Certification / Registration : Valid drivers license required with good driving record.

COMPENSATION

Starting at $17.00 / hr min. and up commensurate upon experience.
