Manager II, QA
The QA Manager II coordinates quality assurance processes and teams, ensuring the delivery of outstanding products or services. Responsibilities entail crafting QA strategies, applying testing approaches, and guiding a group of QA analysts. The position requires working alongside teams from various departments to uphold quality standards, pinpoint opportunities for enhancement, and promote ongoing quality improvements across the organization.
Supervise a team of (6-10+) quality engineers and managing consultants as needed, ensuring the delivery of outstanding work.
Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
Collaborate with teams from different departments to improve team efficiency.
Participate in cross-functional design reviews to ensure quality standards.
Coordinate and supervise the creation of team deliverables.
Escalate risks and resolve issues to facilitate team delivery.
Implement initiatives to achieve zero defects.
Develop and review test plans, incorporating positive and negative test cases.
Drive automated testing and system-level test development.
Track metrics to supervise performance and quality.
Perform resource capacity planning and project estimate creation in collaboration with the PMO Lead.
Develop and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance.
Utilize product and industry knowledge to enhance results and propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications
A minimum of 10+ years working in software quality assurance or quality engineering.
At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within a QA team.
Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Familiarity with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and scripting.
Knowledge of database management and SQL.
Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
Proven track record of leading and managing QA teams.
Ability to mentor and develop team members.
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations.
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Ability to communicate to both technical and executive audiences.
Experienced in Vendor Management and work with Global team(s)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester). Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) can be an added advantage.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is often preferred.
