Transportation Coordinator
This is a non-civil service position. Posting date : 4 / 4 / 2025. Salary range : $15.00 - $28.80 hourly.
Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be required to complete authorization for a criminal background check and / or fingerprint must be successfully completed.
All persons, including current City employees, selected for this position must complete a mandatory 6-month probation.

The Mayor's Office of Employment Development (MOED) is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to oversee the rideshare transportation assistance program, ensuring that eligible training participants receive reliable transportation to and from their occupational training sites. This role is essential in helping Baltimore City residents overcome transportation barriers and gain access to training and employment opportunities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in coordinating services.
Essential Functions
Education and Experience Requirements
Education : Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Transportation Management, Public Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
And
Experience : At least 2 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, workforce development, or a similar administrative role.
