What You Will be Doing
- Greeting guests on arrival with a warm and friendly welcome
- Managing the Reservation System and floor / seating charts
- Accurately quoting wait times and escorts guests to designated table
- Following up with guest requests, either directly or via the assigned Bartender / Server
- Assisting Servers and Bartenders in maintenance and cleaning of service utensils and service equipment as required
- Bussing tables (clearing plates, cups, glassware and condiments etc.)
- Resetting tables to standard
- Answering incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing requested information as able
- Accommodating and processing “To Go” orders, merchandize orders and / or door cover as required
- Ensuring that the Host Stand (and all other assigned relevant areas) is maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner
- Ensuring that all set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
- Interacting with guests
