A company is looking for a Clinical Prior Authorization Technician (Temp to Hire).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare complex prior authorization requests and ensure substantial clinical information for pharmacist review
Obtain clinical information from relevant parties to address clinical guidelines for review
Triage phone calls and resolve concerns from clients, members, pharmacy personnel, and providers
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a UM Technician I
State or National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license required
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Demonstrated project management skills
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
