Insurance Billing Collection Assistant

A company is looking for an Insurance / Billing Collection Assistant III (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced billing and collection activities to ensure timely payment of physician charges

Make collection calls and verify the accuracy of claims with insurance companies and collection agencies

Support training of new staff and assist with special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent certification

Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or insurance

Associate degree preferred

No specific certification or professional license required

Experience with Epic and health insurance billing is advantageous
