Call is optional. Works under the direct supervision of the Sterile Tech Lead and reports to the Surgery Services Nurse Manager. This position receives and reprocesses reusable instruments throughout the facility. Performs cleaning and sterilizing duties. Prepares instrument trays, sterile linens, and supplies as directed. Distributes reprocessed supplies and assists with pulling case carts. Assists with inventory control in surgery. May be asked to assist with the transport of patients and equipment inter and intra departmentally. Holiday coverage is required.
