Server Assistant

Summary of position :

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Tell culinary stories about Twelvemonth that illustrate our commitment to vegetable-forward creativity and sustainability. Each server assistant's primary objective is to show our guests a marvelous time that exceeds their expectations such that they will want to return again and again.

Duties & Responsibilities (includes but not limited to) :

• Welcome and greet guests with a warm and caring demeanor. Make all our guests feel comfortable and inform them of dining and beverage options. Inform first time guests about our ethos of vegetable-forward creativity and sustainability.
• Provide guest preference of complimentary still or sparkling water. Ensure water service is maintained through the guests’ dining experience.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner for all tables.
• Perform side work at the start, during and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Keep tables with active guests clean and manicured in coordination with colleagues.
• Maintain clean service areas. Work smart, efficient and clean.
• Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.  Anticipate guest needs.
• Resetting the table to the original layout to welcome new guests.
• Assist assigned servers during any idle time or as situations arise.
• Assist other server assistants with clearing and resetting tables during any idle time or as situations arise.
• Polishing glassware / flatware during idle time.
• Additional tasks requested from management
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Communicate with management about breaks during shifts, vacation, and other scheduling needs.
• Be an essential part of a positive work environment
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by management or immediate supervisor.

Compensation Details

Compensation : Hourly ($17.43) plus tips
