Start ASAP! ⏱️ Title : RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location : 900 23rd Street NW, Washington, DC, 20037 Shift Timings : 12-Hour Night Shift (3x12s) Duration : 13 (High possibility of extension) Req ID : UHSJP00001462 Job Description : The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit that provides care for neurological, neurosurgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. Various technologies are utilized, including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO / tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps. The RN fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
