QA / QC Manager - Utility Scale Solar PV - Texas

Job Overview

Join us in shaping the future of renewable energy! TGRC is seeking an experienced QA / QC Manager for a prominent utility-scale solar PV project based in Texas. This pivotal role offers a 12-month contract with an attractive hourly wage of $60-$80, and is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring quality and compliance in cutting-edge solar energy projects.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Oversight : Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and standards specific to utility-scale solar PV construction. Ensure all project stages meet internal and external quality benchmarks.

Quality Control Execution : Conduct rigorous quality control inspections and audits. Identify non-conformities and deviations from project specifications and initiate corrective measures.

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain meticulous records of quality assessments, audits, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports on QC activities for project stakeholders and management.

Team Coordination and Training : Lead and train a team of QC inspectors, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest industry standards and project-specific requirements.

Compliance and Safety : Enforce compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Ensure all project activities align with environmental and legal standards.

Qualifications

Experience : 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance and control, specifically in construction or renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar energy being highly advantageous.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

Certifications : Must possess relevant H&S qualifications; additional certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred.

Skills : Exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership abilities, and expertise in regulatory compliance and project management.

Compensation
