Job Description
Responsibilities :
Build rate and capacity models for tooling and inventory to understand storage needs
Manage relationships in a cross-functional environment with Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Engineering, Operations, and other key stakeholders
Build storage layouts in AutoCAD
Lead design reviews and ensure thorough documentation of all technical decisions
Research and validate design and contractual requirements are met
Participate in Kaizen events
Coordinate movement of inventory with our Operations and Cranes & Transport team
Basic Qualifications :
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
4+ years of relevant engineering experience
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in 2D CAD (e.g., AutoCAD)
Project Management and schedule development
Communication & Leadership
Excellent written (whitepaper), presentation (PowerPoint summary), and verbal communication skills - and - comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
This job may require up to 10% travel, depending on business need
